Enrollment dates

School of Economics - School of Political and Social Sciences - School of Agricultural, Food and Environmental Sciences - School of Banking, Finance and Insurance Sciences:
From July 19, 2017 - to September 29, 2017

Other Schools:
From July 19, 2017 - to October 27, 2017

Summer break:
From August 5 to August 21 included

Note for Milan campus: August 30, 31 and September, 13, 14 are dedicated to the Orientation Event and therefore enrollment activities will be suspended during these dates.

List of required steps and documents

  1. Complete your profile on the Portale di iscrizione ai corsi
  2. Come to the International Admissions Office in person and provide the following documents:

    1. Non EU students residing in Italy: show a valid Permesso di soggiorno;
    2. Non EU students who applied for a study visa (D type): show your original passport and provide a photocopy of the visa page and of all the documents issued by the Italian Embassy;
    3. Undergraduate students: high school diploma and its Dichiarazione di Valore, when applicable (please refer to post-admission instructions); If you hold one of the following qualifications, check the related requirements for enrollment:
      1. International Baccalaureate(IB): request the IBO to have your transcript of grades sent to Università Cattolica. Our IB code is 001623. The DV is not required.
      2. G.C.S.E. and G.C.E. (UK): the final scores must be released by the relevant examining board and sent directly to our office.
      3. US High School Diploma: SAT and AP final scores must be released by the College Board and sent directly to our office (code 7414)
    4. Laurea Magistrale students: first-level university Diploma, official transcript, Dichiarazione di Valore or Diploma Supplement (please refer to post-admission instructions).
      Bring the original documents and a photocopy as well. Print this form and fill it in: it will be attached to the photocopies of your documents.

If you face issues obtaining the documents from the Italian Embassy/Consulate by the deadline, you will have to agree with the International Admissions Office on a new date for the submission.
If you applied for a transfer of credits, you will need to ask the university you studied at to send the official transcript of academic records directly to our office via mail in a sealed and signed envelope.

Please note: enrollment can not be completed by someone other than the student him/herself. If the student is under the age of 18, he/she will have to be accompanied by a parent.
If your family income is produced in Europe or an associated state, on the day of enrollment you will be assigned an appointment to meet with the tuition fees office (Area Contributi Studenti) and submit your family income documents.

If you are enrolling to an undergraduate program, you will be assigned a date on which you have to take a placement test called “Verfiica della Preparazione Iniziale”. It is a multiple choice, online test aimed at verifying if your preparation from high school in different subject areas is adequate to start academic studies. The test is provided in accordance with the guidelines of the Italian Ministry of Education.
