Banking and Finance
The Banking and Finance program is a specialized degree designed for students who wish to concentrate their career in financial markets and institutions. The program provides advanced training in the key areas of trading and risk management. A significant feature of this program is the combination of strong analytical foundations and applications that deal with real world issues.
Learning objectives
Students will learn to integrate financial models, firm-specific as well as industry and economic factors in their decision-making process.
In this program, students will have access to meetings with highly qualified speakers from areas such as the financial industry, internship programs in major Italian and international financial institutions, and exchange programs in European and American universities.

* The foreign language course can be anticipated to the first year. The language of instruction of the French and Spanish foreign language course is taught in English. German is taught in Italian. Italian for international students is available only for international students holding a non-Italian undergraduate degree.

All degree-seeking students are required to attend theology teachings aimed at offering a reasoned and critical knowledge of the Christian message. Laurea Magistrale students will have to attend a seminar only for a total of 30 hours

Graduates from the program will gain both the technical knowledge and the methodological tools suited to pursue professional and managerial careers in banks, asset management companies, securities firms, large corporations (particularly in the Treasury and Finance departments), and regulators.
Professional consulting positions in all areas of banking and finance represent another option for graduates.

Candidates need to satisfy the English language proficiency requirement in order to submit their application. Download information on recognized language certificates and exemption policy.
Entry requirements:
The entry requirements are based on the latest guidelines for admission published by the Italian Ministry for Education.

Eligible candidates need to hold an undergraduate degree obtained after a minimum of 3 years of study (180 ECTS), which satisfies the requirements for access to second-level academic studies in the awarding country. If candidates have undertaken less than 15 years of total schooling, they may not be eligible for admission to a Laurea Magistrale.

The degree has to be issued by a higher education institution which is regularly accredited or recognized in the awarding country.

The degree and related studies undertook so far need to be in a subject which is relevant to the chosen Laurea Magistrale. Candidates best suited for the program have studied basics of Mathematics and Economics at undergraduate level.
The academic board will evaluate candidates’ academic and personal background and decide if they meet the specific conditions for admission.

The undergraduate degree must be obtained before 31 July 2018.
