Italian Language and Culture Course


Piacenza campus

The campus offers an Italian Language and Culture Course, designed for students who want to learn, study and explore the Italian language.

The course consists of 45 units including a final exam and it is equivalent to 6 ECTS.



Beginners based on placement test results and number of enrolled students

Mid-March to mid-May 2019 (calendar tbc)

€ 220 for UCSC students or € 250 + 22% VAT for non-UCSC students.

Minimum number of participants:
10 students - if the minimum amount of participants has not been reached, we will endeavour to offer a new quote to enrolled students. 

Non-UCSC students will have to provide the following documents: copy of Passport/ID and a copy of VISA and/or Residency Permit (for non-European students).

Note: You will only be allowed to take the test once.

Withdrawal and Reimbursement

Students may withdraw and request reimbursement if the minimum amount of participants has not been reached and if they decide to withdraw from the mobility program, i.e. before the mobility period starts. Other circumstances will be considered on an individual basis.

If the withdrawal request has been accepted, you will receive a form via e-mail to be completed and returned to the International Office. The reimbursement will then be processed with a bank transfer - cash reimbursements are not possible.

Italian intensive course for DD students - Next course: September 2019

It is a pleasure to inform you that in the context of our Double Degree Program in International Management we will offer an intensive Italian Business Language course at the beginning of the academic year 2019/20.

The course will be run as follows:

  1. 30 contact hours (3 hours/day for 10 days, or 2 weeks)
  2. Period: tbc
  3. The course is addressed to students who have reached an upper-intermediate level of proficiency in Italian (B2). The focus of the course will be to bring students to acquire common business language skills, through practical exercises such as oral presentations, employment interview, business briefs, etc.
  4. The program fee is tbc.
